Kentucky State Police and Scott County Sheriff's Office executed a massive drug bust Wednesday morning, with warrants for 42 people charged with a collective 62 counts of drug trafficking and possession.
The operation has been planned for about a year, Kentucky State Police trooper Kevin Calhoon said. Troopers and deputies began making arrests around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
State troopers and sheriff's deputies made arrests throughout Scott County from rural areas to neighborhoods, like Harmony Ridge.
