First baby of the decade is a girl

Georgetown Community Hospital is ringing in 2020 with the year — and decade’s — first bundle of joy.

Weighing 6 pounds and 15-1/2 ounces and measuring 17-1/2 inches, Ni’Karri Marie Skai Raglin was born to Chelsea Taylor and Sean Raglin Jr., Thursday, Jan. 2, at 8:45 p.m.

“We are so excited to meet our new baby girl,” said Taylor.

“The physicians, nurses and staff at Georgetown Community Hospital all helped to make this such a special and memorable experience for us, and we are so grateful for the wonderful care our family received.”

“It is our privilege to provide a safe, comforting and welcoming environment for our newest and littlest community members,” said Beaven.
