Getting ‘classroom ready’

With the countdown to the 2019-20 school year less than a month away, Scott County teachers and staff are preparing their classrooms and getting the schools ready for students on Aug. 21.

Fresh paint was applied on hallway walls of Scott County High School this week, while Anne Mason PTA staff were organizing T-shirts at the elementary school. New fans were installed this week at SCHS and new tread was laid down on the steps throughout the school. Construction continues at Great Crossing High School and Creekside Elementary, which are still on track for the Aug. 21 opening.
