A Georgetown man faces charges after he allegedly assaulted a member of his household in a dispute over cookies, according to a Georgetown Police Department arrest citation.

Steven Andrew Tucker, 36, was arrested on fourth-degree assault charges after he “bull rushed” a male member of his household when the victim asked that Tucker not eat all of his cookies, the citation states.

Officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Kelsie Court Saturday night in response to a domestic issue. Upon arrival, Tucker met with officers outside the home and admitted to attacking the victim over a box of cookies, the citation states.

“The victim stated he requested (Tucker) not to eat all of his cookies. The above ‘bull rushed’ the victim and hit him in the face two times,” the arrest citation states.

The victim stated that he had struck back at Tucker in self defense, and indicated that Tucker suffers from bipolar disorder. The victim said he did not know if Tucker was regularly taking his prescribed medication for his condition.

“Before departing the residence the above…stated he had no remorse for the victim,” the report states.

Tucker is currently being held at Scott County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
