Two Georgetown men were arrested on robbery charges at a Lisle Road address Thursday, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
Zachary James Arnett, 20, and Kyle Jordan Robinson, 21, were arrested after deputies responded to the 1100 block of Lisle Road when a victim reported two male subjects put a gun to his head and took personal items. The victim was able to give a description of the suspects and their vehicle.
Deputies located and stopped their vehicle on Seminole Trail and searched it. They found Xanax, methamphetamine and marijuana, along with three firearms. Two of the weapons were defaced and one was previously reported as stolen. In addition, the robbery victim’s personal belongings were found in the car.
Arnett was charged with first-degree robbery, possession of stolen firearm, possession of defaced firearm, third-degree trafficking in controlled substance. He was also booked on charges of no tail lamps, license to be in possession, receiving stolen property (firearm), drug paraphernalia and first-degree promoting contraband, arrest records show.
Robinson was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree promoting contraband.
