LEXINGTON – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of intersection improvements scheduled for Scott County. The project was awarded to Nally & Gibson Georgetown LLC DBA for $965,567.41. The project is located along McClelland Circle/US 62 between milepoints 5.943 & 7.693
The work will include the construction of a restricted crossing U-Turn, often referred to as an RCUT intersection. The intersection is a design that restricts left turns at an intersection, but allows the same movement downstream by way of a U-Turn. The RCUT is a method of conflict point management.
Hamilton & Hinkle began work on Monday. This project is part of the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP).
Monday, May 11 through Monday, August 31 – 7 a.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Monday
