James Michael “Jimmy” Brandenburg, 52, passed away, Sunday, May 31, 2020. He was born on March 15, 1968 in Richmond to Charles R. and Virginia Wolfenbarger Brandenburg. For 20 years he was engaged in subcontracting construction work in and around Georgetown.

He is survived by his wife; Sarah Denise Foley Brandenburg and his children; Autumn Rain Brandenburg, Blade Masterson, Grace Evon Brandenburg, Jimmy Lee Brandenburg, Saphira Brandenburg, step-daughter Christina Partin Combs (Alex) and step-son Thomas Partin (Samantha.) Seven step grand children, Haylie Rogers, Blake Boyle, Phoenix Partin, Thomas Partin III, Stella Partin, Alyssa Combs and Tamsin Combs. Two sisters; Janet Evans and Angel Duncan, one brother; Jamie Madden, one niece; Chas Aburassa, and two nephews; Joshua Evans and Camen Duncan.

He was a passionate fisherman and enjoyed fishing from Bar Harbor, Maine to Florida and the Gulf Coast, the Housatonic River and countless streams, rivers and ponds in between.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a limited private service at Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home, as well as private interment. 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for Jimmy’s minor children’s educational fund at Go Fund Me.
