Mary Jane Bailey Johnson

Mary Jane Bailey Johnson, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2020. She was born on May 2, 1924 in Scott County to the late Leslie Todd Bailey, Sr. and Anna Russell Conley Bailey Blair. Mary was a member of Zion Baptist Church, a member of Missionary Society, Usher Board, Culinary Committee and a former Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and working crossword puzzles. Mary was feisty, and said what was on her mind. She will be missed by many and was greatly loved by all that knew her.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Ann E. (Charles) Graves, Marilyn R. Johnson, and Leslye Jane Johnson, all of Georgetown; grandchildren, Carla Lawson (Tony) Vinegar, Alicia "Tina" (Marcus) Underwood, Marishia Johnson, Jayce Johnson, and Jerica Overall; great grandchildren, Tyler, Marcus Jr., Kewun, Matthew, Luca, Nevaeh, Kolton and Anson. Mary is survived by two special nieces, Tina Bailey Sanders and Birdie Bailey Beckwith and also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson, and sons, Bennie Johnson and Stewart Preston McIntyre.
Due to current government restrictions, there will be private services for the family. Burial will be at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
